LSA Majors & Minors. The final authority for changes in course offerings rests with the academic departments. Students may make drop/add changes without advisor approval when these changes result in an academic schedule of 18 credits or less during a term (9 credits in a half-term). A student electing courses at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor campus and at another campus of the university (UM-Flint or UM-Dearborn) will pay the appropriate fees at each campus.

Personal Computers: A laptop computer is essential and required for enrolled students (tablets or other similar devices are also suitable). The only exception is that the student will not be assessed tuition totaling more than the full-time tuition at whichever campus has the higher full-time rate.
